Has anyone ever tried to stain wood in multiple colors with a roller?
Hello,
If this is duplicate question - My apologies...
I am building a rocking horse where the rockers are actually semi-circles. So I was wondering if I used a sponge brush to apply stain to a roller, if it would make a cool pattern
Has anyone ever tried this?
Since nobody here is saying the idea is the dumbest ones they have ever heard, I am going to give it a try tonight and let you all know how it goes...
I have seen staining tools that are meant to create wood grain effects...
and there are Cool paint rollers out there that make all sorts of effects...
I would say test, and use the stains sparingly... to try to elleviate the bleeding over effect... and you will need to apply a base color first, cure it, and stain and cure in steps...
Tell me what you come up with...!!
